Main Bridge
The primary command and control functions for the Gallipoli, like most
star ships, is the bridge located at the top of the primary hull on deck 1.
Like the Galaxy Mk2 the Gallipoli has a modular bridge configuration. The bridge on the Genesis has a pretty standard design with the captain’s chair located at the centre of the bridge. To the right sits the first officer and to the left OIC of the 379th, the marine unit stationed onboard.
In front of this are the Conn (to the right) and Operation (to the left) stations. The Conn station is a combination of Helm and Navigation and the Operation station controls the ships sensors and monitors the ships vital functions.
The Tactical station is located in the wooden handrail behind the central command area. Lining the sides and back walls of the bridge are a number of stations that can be tailored for a range of different uses. Often these include Engineering, Environment, Mission Operations and Science.
Leading off from the bridge are 3 turbolifts. Adjacent to the Bridge are 2 rooms, the captain’s ready room and the conference room.
